By downloading or using Qwelm, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Qwelm lets you upload a PDF or EPUB and ask questions about it; answers are generated by AI from the text of your book. The service is provided as-is and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Answers are generated by large language models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Qwelm currently runs on free AI models, so responses are subject to availability and usage limits and may be unavailable at times. Do not rely on AI responses for legal, financial, medical, or other important decisions — always verify against the source.
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it.
You keep ownership of the books you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload and use them, and you grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the service to you (e.g. extracting and indexing text to answer your questions).
You agree not to:
The Qwelm name, branding, and software are owned by Latencot. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce them without written permission. This does not affect ownership of your uploaded books.
Qwelm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latencot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on AI-generated answers.
We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
